Two teams will each attempt to explain the role of the T-helper cell type 17 in the pathogenesis of uveitis and scleritis.

(see: TH17 cells contribute to uveitis and scleritis and are expanded by IL-2 and inhibited by IL-27/STAT1. Nature Medicine 13, 711 - 718 (2007)
